The following is a report done for a third-year human resources course at Carleton University. The objective was to choose an organization and element of human resources, uncover a problem with the organization's processes, and finally offer a solution. Output included a written report and a presentation in front of the class, the professor, and a panel of judges.
The theme of the presentation was to creatively use photography as much as possible, since ballet is an aesthetic art form. The colour scheme chosen was a pink from the company's logo along with complementary pinks.
Graphs were used throughout the presentation to show representation, and were categorized by the full company and by rank in the organization for clarity and to show trends.
The look of the project was integral to its success, so handouts for the class and panel were developed and printed. These handouts included key information from the report and featured images of dancers from the company. Having these handouts allowed for less information to be required to be written in the presentation, and helped the audience follow along as the presentation was quite long.
